NeuroBalance Project In-Person: 880 Monon Grn Blvd, Suite 78, Carmel, IN 46032

Welcome to Brainwise—a powerful, real-world small group experience for high school students ready to better understand the most complex and incredible tool they’ll ever own: their brain. At the NeuroBalance Project, we dive deep into the science of brain function—how it grows, adapts, and drives everything from focus and decision-making to emotional responses and social relationships. High school is a time of rapid development, high expectations, and major transitions, all while your brain is still under construction. When stress, anxiety, depression, or harmful self-thoughts creep in, they can overload the system and block access to the very parts of the brain you need most—like the prefrontal cortex, responsible for reasoning, judgment, self-control, and goal-setting.

In Brainwise, we zero in on understanding how mental health directly impacts cognitive functioning and learn proven strategies to regulate the central nervous system so the brain can work with you, not against you. Through interactive discussions, movement-based brain resets, and practical tools, we’ll unpack how to recognize emotional overload, how to pause and reset, and how to move forward even when things feel overwhelming. This group is for anyone who wants to build real-life coping skills, understand the brain’s role in mental wellness, and develop resilience to face life’s challenges and changes with strength and clarity.

Whether you're thinking about a future in psychology, social work, education, or simply want to be a strong, compassionate peer leader, Brainwise will help you gain the insight and empathy to support yourself—and others—with confidence. Because when you understand your brain, you unlock your power to grow, connect, and choose hope, even in the hardest moments.
