“A Gentle Entry Point”
Ongoing Brain Health Book Study
"Change Your Brain Every Day" — Guided Conversation & Practice
At NeuroBalance Project, we invite you into a warm, welcoming coffee-shop style space for an ongoing book study and guided discussion centered on
Change Your Brain Every Day by Dr. Daniel Amen.
This is not a lecture or a class—it’s a relational, no-pressure gathering where adults, caregivers, older students, and community members come together to explore practical, science-based strategies for supporting brain health, emotional well-being, and everyday resilience.
Each session blends light education, thoughtful conversation, and real-life application—paired with complimentary coffee, tea, and flavored water in a cozy, comfortable environment designed to help you slow down, connect, and reflect.
What to Expect
Each weekly gathering focuses on a theme or practice drawn from the book, offering:
Gentle discussion and shared reflection
Practical, brain-healthy strategies to try between sessions
Space for curiosity, insight, and connection—without pressure to share
A supportive atmosphere where learning feels human and hopeful
You’ll leave with ideas you can apply immediately, and a deeper understanding of how small, intentional changes can support emotional and physical well-being over time.
Learn Together
This book study is especially meaningful when experienced across life stages. High school and college students are welcome to attend alongside adults, caregivers, and those seasoned at heart—creating a rich space for shared insight, perspective, and understanding.

Normalizes conversations about stress, mental health, and well-being
Encourages reflection across generations and lived experiences
Builds shared language and practical strategies that extend beyond the sessions
Participants are welcome to attend individually or with a trusted family member or friend, fostering connection and meaningful conversation both during and between sessions.

A Gentle Note
This experience is educational and wellness-focused. It is not therapy, counseling, or medical treatment, and it does not replace professional mental health or medical care. It is designed to complement personal growth and well-being through shared learning and neuroscience-informed practices.
Why This Matters
Sometimes meaningful change doesn’t begin in a classroom or a clinic—but in a comfortable chair, with a warm drink, honest conversation, and the realization that your brain is capable of growth at any age.
This is an invitation to learn, reflect, and move forward—together.
Foundations in Neuropsychology
A Two-Part Learning Series for Everyday Life
The Foundations in Neuropsychology series is a neuroscience-informed learning experience for adults, parents, caregivers, and older students who want a deeper understanding of behavior, emotional responses, stress, and change—from the inside out.
This series offers a compassionate, strengths-based lens for understanding how the brain and nervous system shape daily experiences, relationships, and patterns of response. Rather than focusing on labels or diagnoses, participants learn how the brain adapts, how regulation develops, and how new neural pathways can be built at any age.
The goal is insight, relief, and practical understanding—so participants can move forward with greater clarity, resilience, and hope.
Who This Series Is For
Adults • Parents and caregivers • Senior adults • High school and college students • Anyone seeking a neuroscience-based understanding of behavior and emotional well-being
Educational and strengths-based. No diagnosing, labeling, or clinical treatment.
Part 1: Understanding the Nervous System & Behavior
4 sessions | 60 minutes each | Weekly
Part 1 explores how the brain and nervous system respond to stress, safety, connection, and overwhelm—and how these responses shape behavior, emotions, attention, and motivation.
Participants gain a foundational understanding of:
Nervous system regulation and emotional responses
Why stress affects thinking, memory, and behavior
How regulation can be strengthened through awareness and practice
This foundation often brings a sense of “this finally makes sense.”
Tuition
$30 per session | 4 sessions total
Total: $120
Part 2: Applying Neuropsychology for Growth & Daily Life
4 sessions | 60 minutes each | Weekly
Part 2 builds on the foundation of Part 1 and focuses on application and integration. Participants learn how to intentionally apply neuroscience principles to everyday life, relationships, caregiving, learning, and stress recovery.
This series supports:
Building sustainable regulation and resilience
Strengthening attention, motivation, and executive functioning
Creating new, healthier neural patterns over time
Part 2 is ideal for those ready to move from understanding the brain to working with it in practical, meaningful ways.
Tuition
$30 per session | 4 sessions total
Total: $120
A Gentle Reminder
The brain is adaptable, and change is possible at every stage of life.
This series offers a science-informed, human-centered path toward understanding, regulation, and growth.
Nervous System Regulation
"Resetting the Vagus Nerve"
The Resetting the Vagus Nerve series is a neuroscience-informed, holistic learning experience designed to support emotional well-being, stress relief, and nervous system resilience for adults and older students navigating the demands of everyday life.
This series is ideal for parents, caregivers, senior adults, high school and college students, and anyone experiencing anxiety, low mood, chronic stress, emotional overwhelm, or difficulty calming the body and mind. It offers both education and guided, experiential practices that help participants understand how their nervous system works—and how to gently support it.
What This Series Is (and Is Not)
This work is educational and experiential, grounded in neuropsychology and nervous system science. It is not therapy, medical treatment, or a replacement for mental health or medical care. Instead, it offers practical tools that can be used alongside existing supports to help individuals build awareness, regulation skills, and resilience.
What You’ll Learn & Experience
Participants learn how the vagus nerve and autonomic nervous system influence emotional state, stress responses, mood, energy, and connection. Through guided practices and discussion, you’ll explore how to work with your nervous system rather than against it.
Sessions include:
Education on how stress, anxiety, and overwhelm affect the nervous system
Experiential practices using breath, rhythm, sound, and sensory input
Tools to support emotional regulation, grounding, and recovery from stress
Practical strategies that can be used in daily life, at home, or during challenging moments
The focus is on building skills, not fixing what’s “wrong.”
A Shared Learning Experience
This series is especially powerful when learned together. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to attend with middle school–aged children and older. High school and college students may also benefit from attending with a trusted adult or a small group of friends.
Learning these tools in relationship:
Normalizes conversations about mental health and stress
Strengthens co-regulation and connection
Creates shared language and practices that can be used outside the sessions
Format & Tuition
8 sessions | 60 minutes each
$30 per session
No materials fee
Limited to 3 participants per session to allow for individualized guidance and a supportive learning environment
Why This Matters
When the nervous system feels safer and more regulated, people often experience:
Reduced emotional reactivity and overwhelm
Greater clarity, focus, and emotional stability
Improved sleep, mood, and stress recovery
Stronger connection with self and others
This series offers a gentle, science-informed path forward—one that honors the body’s wisdom and the brain’s ability to adapt and grow at any age.
The NeuroBalance Project Ecosystem offers a gentle, neuroscience-informed pathway for understanding the brain, regulating the nervous system, and creating meaningful, sustainable change—through learning, experience, and connection across the lifespan.
